Not many recipes here, that is because I don’t eat them that much.  If you are a big meat eater looking for recipes you may be on the wrong website!   However many of my other recipes can be adapted to be eaten with meat or fish, so don’t give up on me completely yet. 

You may also notice a bit of a theme with my meat dishes – they often involve long slow cooking.  This is partly because cooking meat on the bone slowly gives some of the benefits of bone broth, thought to be so good for the gut.  And partly because it is a great way to cook vegetables alongside the meat, to create the sauce, and make the meat easier to eat and digest.

Buy the best quality meat and fish you can afford.  Savour it, make it a treat, make it last, make it worth it.
