A Set Programme From Julia Buckroyd

Do you want to know WHY you overeat, WHY food is so important to you?  Do you repeatedly think – ‘why me?’ or ‘why can’t I control myself around food’?

Do you binge, eat compulsively, graze continually, start new diets each week?  Is food your crux, your punctuation mark in the day, your strategy for coping?

As a Licensed Practitioner for Julia Buckroyd, I want to help you find the answers and make changes in your life.

The Understanding your Eating Programme has been developed from research carried out by Julia Buckroyd, Emeritus Professor of Counselling of the University of Hertfordshire and Honorary Fellow of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. The Programme is designed for people who are aware that their overeating is driven by emotions rather than by hunger.

Understanding Your Eating

This programme consists of an online assessment + 5 x 1 hour modules. Unlike other approaches we do not focus on what you are eating now, so if you find it difficult to keep a food diary, or make nutritional changes, this might be for you.

During our intial conversation, we will get to know each other a little.  We want to make sure this is right for you, and I want to be clear about the problem with food and eating.
